We are a spin-out from the UK’s Central Laser Facility, STFC, which has pioneered the DiPOLE laser architecture. We specialise in designing and delivering high-energy, high-average power diode-pumped laser systems. Our cutting-edge technology supports advanced research and industrial applications globally.

TECHNOLOGY

The DiPOLE concept enables laser systems of unprecedented energy, pulse-rate and efficiency. Following 15+ years of development DiPOLE laser systems are already installed and operational at three international research facilities across Europe and it underpins the CLF’s Extreme Photonics Applications Centre (EPAC) in the UK.

Our technology platform includes high energy nanosecond and femtosecond laser sources. We are developing a secondary source module that can be used for advanced imaging, radiation hardening and more. Finally, we are exploring very high energy (kJ+) concepts for fusion research.
